Paralegal, Policy and General Counsel, Valencia College

Courtney James serves as Paralegal for Valencia College within the Office of Policy and General Counsel. In this role, Courtney assists the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel with various tasks such as policy research and development, litigation management, legislative tracking and much more.

Ms. James comes to Valencia College with a rich background in legal services where she has supported attorneys in a variety of practices including, bankruptcy and foreclosure, government law and family law. Prior to joining the Valencia community, she worked as a Litigation Paralegal for fast-paced medical malpractice and personal injury firm.

Ms. James received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy from American University.
