Wendy Toscano

Professor, Paralegal Studies, Valencia College

Wendy Toscano is a tenured Professor at Valencia College as well as the Paralegal Studies Program Chair.  Before coming to Valencia Professor Toscano served as General Counsel for Central Florida Educators’ Federal Credit Union.  Prior to that she was a senior associate with the Orlando law firm Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A.  She attended law school at The George Washington University where she received her J.D. degree.  While attending law school she had the privilege of interning with Eric Holder while he held the position of D.C. Superior Court Judge.  She also interned with the Honorable Randall R. Rader, U.S. Court of Claims (Judge Rader recently retired as the Chief Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit).  She attended Newcomb College of Tulane University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors.  In 2011 Professor Toscano was selected by Orlando Home and Leisure magazine as one of Orlando’s AV preeminent top lawyers.  She currently serves on two Florida Bar Florida Registered Paralegal Committees and is a longstanding member of the Orange County Bar Association, actively participating in the VALOR Program providing pro bono legal assistance to area veterans.
