Nichole Jackson

Director, Learning Assessment , Valencia College

Nichole has worked in higher education for 10 years with a focus on outcomes-based practices and assessment methods that inform curriculum. Her pedagogical experience includes years in the classroom teaching Essential Math, Quantitative Reasoning, and Humanities at Rollins College and Valencia College. Nichole earned a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a Master’s in Liberal Studies, both from Rollins. As the Director of Learning Assessment at Valencia College, Nichole regularly collaborates with faculty and incorporates mixed methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis to support continuous improvement. She has presented workshops and invited sessions at annual conferences including Achieving the Dream (ATD), Association for Institutional Research (AIR), and Southern Associations of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC). Her research interests include classical and postmodern philosophies of education and justice, as well as cross-cultural learning and equitable learning environments.
