Mark Popeney

Associate Professor, Bunker Hill Community College

Mark Popeney is a composer whose music spans many styles and media, from classical to pop and musical theatre. Mark’s research interests center on the accessibility of music education and the sociopolitical intersections of music. Mark received his Doctor of Music Arts in Composition from the University of Southern California in 2012. Mark serves as chairperson of BHCC’s Performing Arts Department.
